About Me
A lawyer by education, I occasionally consider myself an an alien of jurisprudence. Having spent a good 14 years of my life being a professional student, I entered the grown-up world in 2005 as an academic at Strathclyde university. After a great run for almost 7 years, I moved to Geneva in 2007 to join the Internet Society as a policy advisor.
I consider my book "The Current State of Domain Name Regulation: Domain names as second-class citizens in a mark-dominated world", published by Routledge, UK. as one of my greatest achievements. This book is a follow-up from my doctorate thesis and investigates the state of domain name regulation under a tripartite framework - intellectual, institutional and ethical.
I enjoy new cultures and people - but I don't enjoy the process of traveling and I hate airports. I am still hoping that someone will come up with a way to travel through time. My favorite movie is the Usual Suspects and one of my favorite books is Το Λάθος (The Mistake) by Antonis Samarakis.
